Triley Fields Equestrian Centre

The Triley Fields Equestrian Centre can be found at Upper Triley Farm, Llantilio Pertholey, Abergavenny, NP7 8DF.
 
Horse riding lessons, show jumping, training, pony club or schooling.
 
Experience your riding lessons out over gallops, along peaceful country lanes or up challenging bridle paths.
 
Working hunter jumps and a BSJA show jumps cross country course.
 
Shows are held throughout the yearc including, showjumping, open shows, one day events and clear round jumping.

 

Monmouth Canoe and Activity Centre

A large fleet of quality modern canoes and kayaks for hire providing canoeing trips to enjoy the River Wye and explore the stunning Wye Valley, with Monmouth Canoe Centre you can paddle your canoe up to 100 miles, from Glasbury, Hay-on-Wye, Bredwardine, Hereford, Hoarwithy, Ross-on-Wye, Kerne Bridge at Goodrich, Symonds Yat or Monmouth as far as Tintern or guided, to Chepstow where the Wye meets back up with the River Severn after their birth together in the Welsh mountains.
 

Gwent Outdoor Centres

Gwent Outdoor Centres offer pupils a range of experiences of outdoor and environmental activities of increasing challenge throughout their school career, covering a spread of National Curriculum,  A level /GCSE courses and personal and social development.

Grange Trekking Centre, Abergavenny

Find the Grange Trekking Centre at Capel-Y-Fin, Abergavenny, NP7 7NP.
 
Activities include pony trekking for beginners and accomplished riders.  Day trekking, short breaks and longer breaks available with or without camping accommodation. 
 
Riders are encouraged to take an interest in looking after the horses generally as this leads to better horsemanship. The treks will take you over heather covered mountain tops, through forests, past waterfalls, visiting reservoirs, and many natural beauty spots.  

 

Dance Blast

Dance Blast is the community dance development organisation for Monmouthshire.  
 
Dance Blast runs inspirational open access dance classes throughout the county for the whole community, from the very young to the not so young.
 
There are also have two flagship dance groups: Monmouthshire Youth Dance Company (MYDC) and Junior MYDC and work with schools throughout Monmouthshire.
 
Classes are run in Abergavenny and Monmouth.

National Diving and Activity Centre

Visit the National Diving and Activity Centre for a variety of activities including diving, water walkers, fly boards, segway session, zip wire and slides and more.
 
There's also a Hot Tub Cinema Experience and a Drive In Cinema Experience.

Girlguiding Cymru

We are for all girls and young women, whatever their background and circumstances and are fully integrated to include girls with disabilities. We offer them fun, exciting activities and the chance to make lifelong friends. You’ll find us in many communities, helping to give girls a head start in life and encouraging them to be happy, self-confident and curious about the world they live in and the difference they can make.
Girls can get badges in everything from survival, world traveller and independent living through to science investigator, stargazer and adventure.
