The Monmouthshire Multi Agency Centre (MAC) and Domestic Abuse Service (MODAS)

The Monmouthshire Multi Agency Centre (MAC) houses a range of different agencies to ensure that any victim of domestic abuse can attend the centre and receive expert safe, confidential, information and advice.
 
The agencies who currently provide a service from the Centre include:
 
Women's Aid - offering refuge, the Freedom Programme, Play Therapy and Male Mentoring
 
Llamau - offering support to vunerable people, including those with complex needs; includes housing, emergency intervention, ongoing floating domestic abuse support.
 
Gwent Mediation offer their services from the Monmouthshire Multi Agency Centre, for those needing mediation in family separation or divorce.
 
Shiatsu Massage - for those clients currently supported by one of the Centre's agencies, and a QiGong exercise class open to all (on Tuesdays).
 
The Kiosk is also available to all members of the public who need to bid for housing but who do not have access to the internet. This is a free service open to the public.
 
The Multi Agency Centre also offers an Independent Domestic Abuse Advisor, a local solicitor, Victim Support and Gwent Police.
 
The Kaleidoscope Alcohol Service are based at the centre 2 -3 times a week. 2 voluntary counsellors are available, as is the Money Advice Service.
 
Monmouthshire Outreach Domestic Abuse Service (MODAS) offer outreach support throughout the county.
 
The Monmouthshire Multi Agency Centre is open to everyone whether or not they have been referred by an agency, for advice and support.
