Child Accident Prevention Trust - The Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) is the UK’s leading charity working to reduce the number of children and young people killed, disabled or seriously injured in accidents.  Range of resources, publications and newsletters for practitioners working with children and families.

NHS Choices (immunisation information) - A checklist of the vaccines that are routinely offered to everyone in the UK for free by the NHS, and the ages at which they should ideally be given.

Health and Safety Check List for Classrooms - This checklist will help users quickly identify any areas of concern or risks to those using or working in a school classroom. It could be suitable for settings based in schools, or modified for other settings.

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) - Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations 2002, is the law that requires employers to control substances that are hazardous to workers’ health. Employers should undertake an assessment of workplace risks and put in place measures to control them. This information should be displayed within the workplace.

Child Safety Week - Child Safety Week provides an opportunity to run an event or activity relating to child safety. Action packs and resources available.

Road Safety Week - Road Safety Week is a project by Brake, a road safety charity with two aims; preventing road crashes, and supporting the victims.

Beep Day - Beep! Day is a road safety day hosted by Brake. It can be organised pre-school settings, to help save lives. It helps children to start learning the road safety basics through fun activities, while raising awareness among parents and the community about protecting children on roads.

Cancer Research UK (Sun Safety) -Provides example sun safe policies, resources and posters.

Sunsafe Nurseries - Provides practitioners and families with support/resources to help ensure children are adequately protected from the damaging effects of the sun and learn how to enjoy the sun safely at an early age.

Stop Smoking Wales - Leaflets and posters that can be printed to promote Stop Smoking Wales in settings. Can also sign post staff and parents that wish to quit to the website.

Food Standards Agency (Food Safety) - Publications and information relating to food safety.

Safer Food, Better Business (SFBB) Pack - Safer food, better business helps small businesses with food safety management procedures and food hygiene regulations. More information and advice could be sought from local environmental health teams.

NSPCC Underwear Rule - The underwear rule teaches children about keeping safe from abuse. These resources are aimed at teachers in schools, but pre-school settings with older children may find the resources useful. There are also leaflets to download for parents ‘Simple conversations to keep your child safe from abuse’.

NSPCC Share Aware - A website and downloadable resource to share with parents about keeping their children safe online.

Lock up your Liquitabs Leaflet - This poster was produced by Children in Wales and Public Health Wales.  It informs parents about the dangers of poisoning from liquitabs.
