Child Protection (Monmouthshire)

Any report of suspected child abuse is treated seriously. It is seen as a priority for prompt action and help.
Monmouthshire County Council believe that all children and young people in Monmouthshire have the right to be safe from harm and deserve the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
Its role and responsibilities are recognised in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, including the contribution it must make to working together with other agencies to ensure the well-being of the children in the county.
